When I like someone add\nAll the sudden I start to really like them
And I see which path I can take if I want to and I have to ask myself , are you ready for this
How much do you really like her? What are you willing to do to be in this relationship? What are you willing to lose to be in this relationship
And big question is, it takes 2 people to be in a relationship? It takes 12 screw it up or both
So then you have to ask yourself, if something happens out of your control.\n How strong are you and are you willing to walk away?
Because it's not fifty fifty , it's one hundred one hundred
That you have to put into it because there are sundays that your partner might not be able to put their fifty percent in , so you put it in for them
And since it takes two people to make it work , if one person isn't holding up to their bargain , they're part of the deal , can you walk away and be happy , still be strong , still no matter what
And if I can answer all those questions, did I have no more fear, I can walk into it 100% and let it happen at the same time. Make it grow
That I misjudged them.
Hmmm... I'm not quite sure how to put this.
When you love someone, you infer their values, their purpose in life, their desire to grow with you and all of the other things that are going to be critical in determining how far you can grow and build together, how close you can become. But you infer all of this from behaviours and you only, even after 12 months or so together, only start by seeing some behaviours. People behave differently in situations you haven't been in with them before.
I'm being especially incoherent today.
Okay. You see a checkout woman at the register of a supermarket. You infer that she values earning a paycheck, mainly just wants to get through her shift peacefully, and that you can work together on that. You arrive at the checkout. Maybe she smiles and gets to business... fine efficient pursuit of her values. Or she starts some small talk.. fine she likes to chat, while she pursues her other values. Or she stares downward as she sets about things... fine maybe she's tired or shy or whatever, but she is still someone you can work with just fine. But if you arrive at the checkout and pulls out a gun, fires a couple of warning shots into the ceiling and yells at you that she's going on a break, then it's fair to say your original inference of her values was incorrect.
Normally, as relationships build, you see a range of behaviours in different situations that fill out and detail your understanding of someone's values, and adapt your own style accordingly. But occasionally you see behaviours that mean you were wrong all along in believing they held the values you thought and that all of the time and energy you have invested is never going to amount to the relationship you wanted.
First prize for incoherence right here. I guess I'm still sorting out my own thoughts on the issue.
As a single mum, my biggest fear is now creating a long term bond with someone, having my kids bond with them and love them, and then having that person abandon us. I can move past heartbreak, but I would feel guilt for my children. It’s something that I felt as a child when my dad broke up with one of his long term girlfriends - she was a great step-mum. I miss her still.
My biggest fear is losing myself in the process , giving so much of my heart that I forget my own needs, boundaries, and identity.
I want love to be deep and real, but still balanced. The thought of investing fully in someone and ending up hurt, or realizing I’ve lost sight of who I am, is what I fear most.
I’m here on GAG to decode love, drama, and all the delicious chaos in between 💋
My biggest fear when I’m in love?
Honestly… giving my whole heart to someone who slowly checks out emotionally. Not cheating, but that quiet drifting, the emotional ghosting while still being “together.”
That feeling of loving deeply while the other person falls out of love? That’s the real nightmare.

Being abandoned or left behind.
For me fear itself is my biggest fear. Love and fear are opposites. If I am afraid, or show any kind of weakness; I feel like she won't love me anymore. So I guess that is kind of like the being seen option. To me its different thou... its hard to explain. Because ill tell you anything but, what im afraid of isn't in my past, its what I can't see coming...
Nothing, no fears about being in love.
My attitude has changed towards love. Sure any of that can happen but I don't fear it.
I'll choose how to deal with it.
i am all 100% give my best to him. what i am afraid is he take it for granted and only do less than 50%
Being left.. Abandonment has always been a big insecurity for me. Which is why I usually always leave first.
Not knowing whether that person is my love or my muse.
I'm scared to be lied to, decieved and or betrayed.
Being cheated on and betrayed. Basically being lied to the whole time and left dumb founded feeling like the whole relationship wasn’t what you thought it was. You were just living a lie.
I’ve always been afraid I wouldn’t be able to protect her fully. I’d have to be everywhere all the time.
Not getting a b. j. !!!
Being left alone
