Yes, she really was my best friend for a while. One night we went out to a MLB game and afterwards we sat in my car and she told me that she was in love with me. I was completely taken by surprise. I had a girlfriend that lived in another state and she knew this. I did put my arms around her. I do not really remember what I said but I tried to be as nice as I could. Afterwards she kissed me. It was so soft and warm and I was totally surprised. In the days that follwed I started to thin that maybe being with her would be good. We used to hang out a lot and i always had fun with her. We could tell each other anything and she was pretty. By the time I told her that maybe I was falling in love with her she had sort of changed her mind. Soon she went away to graduate school and I never saw her again.
