Why do so many people with real skills stay broke? I see it everywhere, especially here in the U. S. They have talent but nothing to show for it?

Number one, the economy isn't what it used to be.

Two, most people don't save money nowadays.

Thirdly, many women are uninformed as to the benefits of owning, using and otherwise exploiting a weak beta male pay pig for their own selfish pleasure -- pleasure that is exponentially more important than some celibate fincuck, who deep down, fervently hopes a beautiful, arrogant woman will take ownership of that worthless piglet ass and make him her personal source of cold cash.

Talented individuals often struggle financially because they confuse having skills with having a marketable, sellable, and scalable business, focusing on passion or perfection rather than market demand. In the U. S., financial success typically results from solving problems others will pay for, not just possessing innate talent, which requires marketing, consistency, and professional sales skills.

You have to have skills that are rare and in-demand to be able to call your own shots. If you have skills that tens of millions of other people have and you can be easily replaced, and your income will be on the low end.

One good way to combat this is, if you have common skills in one area, and common skills in another area, if the combination of these skills is rare and in-demand, you've created a shortcut for yourself to money and success and whatever else you might want.

That’s just the reality of the market today. Late stage capitalism has made it so that only the rich get rich, and everyone else has to essentially work themselves to near death to reach even a fraction of that success

So many skilled people stay broke because skill isn’t the same as strategy. They’re great at the craft, terrible at self-promotion, pricing, networking, and boundaries.

No marketing, no brand, fear of rejection, impostor syndrome, staying “humble” = financial ghosting themselves. Talent without visibility and leverage just becomes a cute hobby, not income.

You have to have a skill that is in demand. All the software engineer jobs were sent over seas and now many of them can be done with AI.

I understand you, but I think it's the other way around. I learned that if you build a skill that's actually valuable the network finds you. I didn't start with connections, I started with something people needed. Once you have that you're the one everyone wants to contact.
