How much can you trust someone during the talking phase?

My grandfather always said believe none of what you hear and half of what you see and he is right. Without the body language behind the words they have no real meaning. And without the consequence of another persons reaction people tend to say things they wouldn't otherwise. Specifically hard to assess a persons confidence for instance when there is no challenge to it..

I trust everyone until they give me a reason not to. You just have to accept that you might get hurt/disappointed in the end and just be ok with that. It's a risk everyone has to take if they want any type of meaningful relationship.

I always struggle to watch war movies and documentaries but I believe its so important to remember and be educated on everyone who was involved in the war so there sacrifice wasn't in vain and we never repeat history.

I was watching a doc on YouTube about shell shock and the WW1 nurses. Im pregnant so my hormones are extremely sensitive anyways but I poured my fucking eyes out for them men/boys. Some of them were just baby's at 16 and the nurses were speaking of them crying for there mums at night and them having to tell them "look im gonna be your mum tonight " and having told hold them like there mums would just bought something out in me.

Whenever I think of the young men that suffered i think about my husband and if history was ever to repeat its self which could potentially happen.

My husband is a strong man but in my eyes he's my prefect, sweet angle and the idea of going through anything them men had to just kills me inside.

With everything thats happening in the uk and across the world I feel like everyday these young men and women's legacy is being more and more pissed on if im brutally honest and if we were to go to war again what would we actually be fighting for because at the end of the day its never the money grabbing, pedo loving politicians who will have to suffer its the common man.

I already love my baby so much even though its not here yet and I feel the same as I mentioned for my husband. If I was to have a child go to war id be beside myself so I can't imagine what went through them poor soldiers mums heads either whilst that went off.

So many people are effected by war but never the ones who get rich off it and it makes me hate the government so much

This is gonna have to be one of those things that builds over time. Give it that 90 day rule i mentioned on your other question. The main thing you’re looking for is if their words overall match their actions. If they do you can probably trust them.

as a general rule though i just give people a general trust and respect unless they give me a reason not to trust them. i think its healthy and good to trust others on that more superficial level.

but to me, trusting someone doesn't mean to just believe...

I never walk blindly either, nor onto risk... I just take my time and pace things, which is why and how I am able to just trust whoever is doing the same with me
