Thank goodness I don't date and have no wish to do so because that poor person would probably hate me before he would even know me.

I would not date a person in the first place that I don't know for at least 5 years simply because people are liars by nature and will hide the important things. Who will admit that they have a criminal record or have done some jail time? Who will say up front that they are junkies or addicts? Who will confess that they are walking red flags? Right, nobody will and it is up to you to find out but that takes time and 5 years is a minimum for me to thoroughly investigate that person through whatever legal ways offered to me.

If you talk the talk you have to walk the walk... for example if we talk about what we do for a routine and they say they get up early and go to the gym everyday but then I realize they go to the gym when they feel like it and it isn't early... those are the "tests" I can't ignore. Its not always that straight forward. But thats what my hoops to jump through look like
