What is it really like living in an expensive, fancy gated house?

Okay just want to know , but if you live in an expensive & fancy house - what's it like. I'm sure it must be different than living in a regular house , so you live in a fancy house surrounded by gates right 🧐 or do you live in like a gated community of some sort

I live in a 5 bathroom, 5 bedroom house with a finished basement that we have arcades, a dart area, a pool table in and also live in a gated community and I think it's pretty great and a big change from the house we owned when we lived in Texas. That one was only a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom house without a basement at all.

It's not a mansion or anything but gives us a lot of space for us to really expand if we want.

We live in a 5-bedroom, 2-story house with a band studio, a home theatre room, outdoor and indoor hot tubs, and other luxuries. However, it's not significant. We only really moved in here for a band practice space and the extra storage space to house our music collection.

Honestly? After the initial “wow” wears off, it feels pretty normal. You get more privacy, security, nicer views, cleaner streets, maybe nosier HOA and image pressure.

It’s less “movie-level glamour,” more “bigger place, higher bills, stricter rules, same human drama.”
