Why do men emotionally check out or walk away from relationships?

A lot of dudes figure out a woman is using them obviously not all women are bad and some aren’t even doing it intentionally though some are but men generally have a lot going on in their lives. They want a woman to bring him peace and be a helper, most men don’t expect a woman to be perfect but when he sees she’s consistently intentionally disrespecting him, testing him, taking things out on him that aren’t in his control, being one sided, and not communicating just expecting him to read her mind.

It just becomes another thing they have to worry about then they imagine themselves being married. Coming home after a long day mentally and physically exhausted to…. her. And he asks. Would I be happy?

Now yes, some men tolerate this behavior out of desperation or because for a while he loves her but most people will grow tired eventually. I can make a similar post for women there’s plenty of things men can do wrong before someone rants at me. I’ve made posts about guys and gals….. I don’t spare anyone.

If their childhood family life is disturbed, they may have learned that emotions are unsafe or dangerous, to prevent disappointment they walk out. This is a MAJOR issue this is where many people go wrong especially men. If a man tries to impress a woman with facts about him without creating a bond especially if he lies. A woman wanting a genuine connection who also has respect for him isn’t going to waste her time or his. She will move on.

The people running through a checklist this person must have money, status, be a trophy for me, give me XYZ, etc isn’t the type of woman you want. Not the other extreme where a woman doesn’t have any standards either but you get my point.

Why is it that there’s men living in their parents basement who have loving relationships when there’s men who are put together who have fake relationships? Not that any of those things are wrong to have. But someone isn’t going to genuinely fall in love with you because you have money or good looks or status.

Any of those things can fade. Things can happen completely out of your control. If someone loves you for money they will probably cheat and probably leave. Even if you keep your money someone always has more

This is the thing as well….. Men sometimes open up to a woman and she either shuts him down or uses it against him later obviously that’s wrong and obviously you can’t trust anyone.

But then when he never opens up to a genuine woman…. You’re right a true relationship does have emotional support many people live inside a prison inside their own homes because they can’t show any emotion until they break.

Now being vulnerable isn’t just aboit emotions it’s also loving for someone for who the genuinely are you see the silly side of them that they only show at home. Home is safe… But if you have a wife who has zero empathy for you.

But this goes both ways. How many men also could care less about their woman’s emotions. A lot of women are also mentally, physically, and emotionally stressed and can’t really communicate it with their husbands.

A lot of men just want to fix a problem which isn’t bad or give advise which also is part of a relationship. But are never really there emotionally for the woman. Not to mention her periods, pregnancy, and menopause things he may never fully comprehend. But she also goes out into the world puts on a strong face and then if she has to come home and suck it up without someone who loves and cares for her. It’s a problem.

Many people downplay their problems and big things along little things that add up become major issues later down the road.

Men tend to walk out when his efforts for cheering up, love, etc are ignored.
Also men have physical needs more then emotional needs.
So if he is denied some of it he tends to feel guilty each time when he tries hard.
It's not only sex, it's the childish thing, hugs kisses, hands through hair, resting heads on eachother, men want this but afraid to ask because we are taught not to ask+ the judgement of society.

People just need to leave. A lot of men say “oh bro hold her accountable she will change” yeah for a time but if you have to force a behavior it strips the meaning of it.

Same for women who say well just give him an ultimatum….. people can change for short periods of time when they’re scared of loosing something. But usually after that time they relapse 10 times worse then before
