Listen to your parents and don't get married!! Like your dad said "Marriage is the stupidest thing you could do" especially cuz there were doubts in the first place and my ex was pushing me for marriage and pressuring me "if you don't come now my mom is gonna marry me off to someone else.." I should of just let her it would have saved me years of my life lol. Never trust a dumb fuck who pressures you into things, they don't respect you!

Listen to the warnings people make about themselves. Most of them are NOT lying.

When you hear pronouncements like these from people you're involved with, unless you're just like that person and it's OK with you, they're red flags. Listen and evaluate!
