If you could go back and give your younger self 1 piece of advice, what would it be?

Throught the years I learnt that love is tough. The people we choose to say I do too can either make the journey amazing or they can make it horrible.

One advice I would go back and give myself is," Never fall in love " if I knew back then what I know now. I would have never fallen in love and never gotten married. I have been betrayed far too much for too long. Love has messed up my life so much that now in it can only be managed, never cleaned. Looking from the outside it seems great, money, cars, house, successful business. ... but if I had to choose again, I would choose differently. (We started from the ground up, we were never handed anything. We created our own wealth.)

1. Your years will just go by if you don't make good use of it. It also means that life will just pass by if you don't care.
2. There are only rewards for being brave. The more afraid you are, the more you miss out on life.
3. Success is all based on preparation. Insufficient preparation is sign of future failure.

The best advice I would give to my younger self is not to listen to insecure teenage girls who kept making fun of my body when I was in high school. They made me believe that I was unattractive and that no guy would ever want me because they thought I was too skinny. My self-esteem went down so badly through the years.

Well, it was full of shit and there was no reason for me to be insecure and have low self-esteem. I would have told my younger self that many guys will LOVE my body and find it sexy :) and that I won't be forever alone lol

Stop trying so hard at school and break away from the pressure to follow your parents and teachers wishes for you. For some people this would be bad advice, but I was always the talented kid who didn't like to stir up trouble and kind of lost myself to the grand plan and well wishes of others. I commuted to college from home, went for a stem field, and worked full time to pay for it all mostly pushed by the well intentioned advice of adults around me. Now that Im an adult, I get to hear many of those same adults stories of when they were young and honestly Im jealous. They let loose, partied, found their partners, pursued hobbies, had their own place or stayed 9n campus, and traveled. All I did in my youth was work myself into a position where I have to work harder and longer hours while skipping out on the things I actually care about. It's my fault for taking the advice too seriously, but damn I wished someone advised me back then to just do your own thing.
