Nope. Cheating means staying with them but going behind their back.
If someone cheated on me, I wouldn't stay with them and hide the fact that I was cheating. I would dump them for someone else.

That's pointless. Just be done with them and start moving on. It would be over as soon as I knew so it wouldn't be possible to cheat anymore anyway.
