Every Sunday, I have to go to church with my husband. Not because I want to, but because I have to be there as his supporting wife. Sometime, I lie that I am not feeling well to stay behind, but I take that opportunity to be with other men.

Did it for four years. I’ve sort of let it go. I really did try though. I started reading the history of how the canonical was formed and discovered everything cherry picked from unknown authors that sounded consistent enough. I prayed. Nothing ever happened. I went to bible studies. Started sort of cringing at the idea of how people portrayed themselves as talking to Jesus casually throughout their day. I just couldn’t wrap my head around it anymore. I can believe in scripture but only in the context of it being allegorical. I think the principals are a great way to live life, but I just can’t get behind it anymore. I also cannot stand how Christianity in America has become nationalized and a business. Preachers tend to self virtue signal through psuedo motivation and asking for tithing too much.

No I'm not religion religious at all I am very spiritual I'm more spiritual than most religious people that religion to me is now a prophet making machine it's to keep people in control if you do this you're going to hell now pay the tithing it just goes on and on and on and if you know anything about the Bible God never said he wanted us to be religious he said he wanted us to be spiritual because that's what energy is it's free it's freedom and that's what spiritual is religious is not

Christian religious trauma says I can never be comfortable in a church setting ever again. Previous attempts at alternative religions have not gone well but I’m hopeful for something like witchcraft. Regardless, I think I’d do best as a card-carrying member of The Satanic Temple
