Are you religious? If so, how religious are you?

Religious = Strongly believing in a higher power and worshipping a deity and man-made rules that describe that deity's wishes...

Spiritual = Believing in a higher power, but without man-made rules or criteria to do so.

Agnostic = No knowing and/or caring if there's a higher power out there or not.

Atheist = Believing no higher power exists or could ever exist.

The Major Religions = Christian-Judeo religions (Christianity, Catholic, Judaism, etc), Islam, Buddhism, etc..

I'm not religious. I'm agnostic. I don't know if there's a higher power out there or not, but if there is, mankind sure as hell knows nothing about them. I personally believe the more religious you are in the modern era, the harder it is to be an intelligent, logical person, if it's even possible. Religion is REALLY dumb, in my opinion. I mean, I kinda get it, considering how depressing humanity is, which is why I'm not a flat-out atheist. And sometimes, there are good morals to be learned from them. But I don't think you need the human-made propaganda to go along with the morals involved.

I'm very religious and obey the word of my deity as much as possible.

I'm not religious and don't believe in gods.
There's an aspect of Process Theology that postulates that everything in existence is the universe observing itself. I like that idea. After all, I'm a creature made of star stuff and I'm observing the universe. Isn't that the universe observing itself? But I think that the universe is merely a neutral observer. It doesn't favor the fox or the field mouse. There isn't anything looking out for humans. No deities are judging human behavior.

I know that humans and most animals respond to kindness and good wishes. I extend that to everything. Sometimes I will touch a tree, for example, and share my sincere appreciation, gratitude and best wishes. I do that to other things, too. They can't talk to me, but I hope my love and appreciation effects them. I sometimes thank the universe/creation, itself, when I look out at a majestic scene, at a sunset, or at the moon and stars.

I were raised religious, but at least when I started to think about it more, I've always understood that I were kind of biased, I mean how does being born and raised to believe in one religion, automatically make it more true than any other one out there.

Personally, I don't rule out the possibility of any of them being true, as I haven't studied all of them and it's a big world, there's a lot of stuff I don't know, but I don't see why I should just commit to one with all the uncertainty or try and trick myself into believing that the one I were raised to believe, is right and everyone else who's different, is wrong.

I'm an atheist.

I'd add that the description of agnostic in the poll is incorrect - agnosticism isn't a separate position from any of the other poll options.

In fact the atheism description is wrong, too - Because atheism isn't an assertion that no gods exist.

Agnostic because you can't totally disprove a god.

We could be living in a simulation.

But a Deist God is more likely than the gods mentioned in all the religions.

Belief in my opinion requires knowledge. I don't believe something if there's no evidence, so in that respect I'm an agnostic atheist.

Eh, barely religious... or just spiritual? I've had a premonition dream when I was a child once and it's very difficult to explain in a scientific context.

I'm a faithful practicing Catholic. I pray the Rosary at least once a day and attend Mass as often as I can.
