Is my boyfriend gaslighting me for calling me crazy after I checked on him?

I have been dating this guy for 15 months and today he was extremely angry with his teenage daughter and he wasn’t calming down on the phone to me
I didn’t hear of him for two hours so I rang him to check on him and his daughter just to make sure things were okay and didn’t get out of hand
Instead of being reassured I got called crazy because he wouldn’t answer the questions I was asking and instead went on about his phone and eBay purchase
He sounded like he took edibles (which he has in the past) and I did ask him but he denied it but I am absolutely convinced he was lying about as he was too chill and sounded so drowsy on the phone
He then called me mean and crazy and I ended up getting really upset because all I was doing was checking on him and his daughter
I can’t stop crying now and I’m really upset
He knows in my previous relationship that illegal substances caused the breakdown of my relationship and it’s a massive trigger for me
Any thoughts on this?
