Is my boyfriend gaslighting me?

My boyfriend thinks I have an ego because I say I am better looking than his crushes and celebrities

He said this ego thing and my thinking I am God’s gift puts him off.

All I said was in response to his countless comments like he wants a certain celebrity in his bedroom and she’s the only one allowed in his room or he’ll say if he was married to someone who looked like said celebrity then he would be whipped or he’ll say Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner etc…

Now when I said I am prettier than these girls and a lot younger than him and all the people he mentioned so why is he not happy and still mentioning these people he starts saying I have an ego problem and think I am God’s gift.

I don’t understand why it is bad to know you’re pretty and I don’t know what he’s doing. It just drains my energy and makes me confused.

You are feeling neglected and in some ways abused. You are good enough, you know it, and he will not acknowledge or confirm this need of approval. We only seek approval from the ones we love. A common reaction is to get even and your way of doing this is to point out your superiority to his past women. If you want to use the term gaslighting then you two are gaslighting each other.

You both are strong-willed personality seeking validation in each of your self-perceived ways. There is no respect. It would not hurt you to find some legitimate sources for respecting a man. And if it was me some for respecting a woman, put it in a folder with his name on it, and set it where it can be seen. You do NOT need to point it out... if he loves you he will understand, "I'm hurtin" Good luck with it...

Well what your boyfriend is doing is wrong. It's better to not bring up things which incite jealousy in your partner in my opinion. But yeah. Why do you brag that you're pretty to him? It's for validation and to put the other girls down and feel better about yourself.
