That really depends on the person. Do you look beyond the surface? Do you feel empathy? Or do people continue to judge upon what appearances might suggest? The majority of people won't ever fully understand each other. But there is hope that a small percentage will.

Virtually EVERY advancement made on the planet has been criticized by small minds of the times. I suppose that's to be expected if it were based on ignorance alone, but today it's also based on profit.

Scientists working on free energy have disappeared and/or been killed. Scientists working on non-fossil fuel energy have been turning up dead. The reasons are obvious.

At the same time, I don't think that means understanding is impossible. Humans are remarkably good at getting close. Through conversation, empathy, shared experiences, listening, storytelling, art, and even silence, people can develop a deep understanding of one another. Close friends, partners, family members, and sometimes even strangers can feel genuinely seen and understood. #
