I will be attending a conference with my husband coming up. My ex is going to be there with his wife. While my husband speaking in his session, I will be spending time with my ex maybe in my hotel room because my husband will be busy.

First of all I think you might be joking or teasing about hooking up while your husband is busy but maybe not. To answer the question, I have two ex's I would literally hide from or leave the conference if I saw them there, but I have some others who I'd be polite to. I would not want to hook up with an ex or anybody else. JMO!

If things ended on an amicable note it shouldn't be a huge deal. Maybe just some awkward silence. But if it was messy then there will be some lingering tension which would be uncomfortable.
