When someone enters a situation knowing you're taken, they're not looking for a future they're looking for a loophole. They're cool with being second place because they never planned on being first. To them, you're not a partner, you're an escape. And escapes don't get loyalty, they geet used until they're not fun anymore. So if they're fine with you going home to someone else every night, that's not love. That's just them getting what they want with zero strings. Real interest doesn't share , iit claims. If they're not asking for more, it's because they don't see you as more.
you're thinking logically and from a logical standpoint, you're absolutely right. but i have seen people litterally entering an affair and then hoping that the guy who cheated their ex with them, will then bei faithfull to them. it's absolutely idiotic but people do do that. i've seen it.
You're right, people do that, and it's fuckin straight up delusional. They convince themselves they're the exception, not the pattern. But if they cheated with you, they'll cheat on you. That's not logic, that's ego hoping love fixes a flaw it never will. I've seen it too so much that it's just plain exhausting at this point.
yeah it's the same delusional thinking that some people have getting into relationships with absolutely unacceptable partners hoping they'll get better eventually. i've never seen that work out.
