Does it really matter why? You wouldn't want to be with someone who was faking it right? (Maybe you would) Wasn't sure what they wanted. Or frankly just didn't share your zeal about it right?

Also, what's REAL? Because just because you feel this way now doesn't mean you'll feel that way in a week, a month, a year, or a decade from now. A lot of women think catching feelings is love. It's not! And as soon as the dopamine, norepinephrine, and oxytocin wear off, she generally disikes him.😆

But i guess i haven't really answered your question. "Why?" you ask. It would be easy to say, "he knows better." But that would also be false. It's typically because he has his own little obsessions as well. And ironically, she's not it. But in the long run for her that's probably a GOOD thing. Even though she won't see it that way.

I did that unintentionally. Maybe the feelings were new to him, and maybe he didn't think he would develop those feelings the way he did. Eventually, some clarity would arrive and deeply recoiled at some of my actions.
