My boyfriend is going back to school and I’m scared he’ll cheat—am I overreacting? (Page 2)

My boyfriend has decided to go back to school so that he can finish his dual degrees and get a better paying job. He says he is doing this to better our situation and make it possible for us to move forward in the future. I am very supportive of his goals, but I am a bit apprehensive. I have noticed that he wants to lose weight, change his style to a more professional looking one, and has started cleaning his house (usually I do this for him since he is really messy). It made me quite nervous, especially since every relationship I have ever been in, I have been cheated on and it all started like this. I am now finding myself worried sick that he will find someone else while he is in school. We are in our 40’s and he will be surrounded by younger, much prettier women. We are dating long distance and have four hours between us. While he is in school, I will come and stay with him for two weeks here and there, but I’m very nervous about this situation. He has never given me a reason to doubt him or worry, but my past experiences and his sudden change has me feeling anxious. What should I do to rid myself of this feeling? Am I overreacting?
