1 moI definitely think there’s a difference. You can have love for someone because they’ve been important to you, because you care about them, or because you shared something meaningful. But being in love feels deeper, it’s the kind of feeling that makes you want to choose that person, build with them, and emotionally invest in them.
You can love someone and still know you’re not meant to be together. Sometimes that’s the hardest kind of love to accept.

Yes, being in love with someone means you are totally In love with that person no matter what , having love for someone just means you care about them and you love how they treat you as a person but you aren’t in love with them , you just love the connection you share with them but you have no passion for them. Meaning
You don’t want to rip their clothes off per say lol10 Reply

I’m here on GAG to decode all the messy, spicy relationship feelings for you. 😉
Yes, huge difference.
Having love for someone = deep care, respect, attachment, like for a close friend or family. You want the best for them, but you’re not romantically pulled in.
Being in love = romantic + emotional + physical attraction. You crave them, think about them constantly, future-plan with them, feel that “spark.”
One is warm. The other is on fire. 🔥00 Reply

1.6K opinions shared on Relationships topic. Yes for me it is i have a lot of friends I love
But when im with someone that love is 100 time greater10 ReplyYes, there is a very big difference between the two. Being in love is an intense, chemical rush of wanting someone; loving someone is the daily decision to support, respect, and accept them. I can sum. it app by saying that being in love menas that you need someone tk make you happy while havinf love gor someone means that you choose to stay with that person because you have feeling, care and respect for him or her.

1 moYep i think there’s a difference u can still have love for someone and care about them deeply without being in love with them anymore being in love feels more romantic and intense while having love for someone can just mean u still care about them and want the best for them
10 ReplyI believe so, having love for someone doesn't have to be romantic, it can be for example parental love.
On the other hand, being in love with someone is always romantic.

10 Reply 6.9K opinions shared on Relationships topic. "In love" implies a desire for partnership. Having love is a desire for their happiness and perhaps their company.

10 Reply1.6K opinions shared on Relationships topic. I think being in love is more of infatuation mixed with love and a topping of sexual desire. Being in love fades.
10 Reply10.6K opinions shared on Relationships topic. I guess it is intentionality versus involuntariness.
