How would you feel if someone you had loved for five years told you that they felt disgust toward you and wished they had never met you?
Could you really say something like that to someone you had been in a relationship with for all those years?

Well yes I can depending on the situation. What happened to make that person say that? Is infidelity the issue, was it something else done that that was very disgusting which is hard to tell from your comments. Clarity is needed here.
Hopefully, it wouldn't ever reach that point. I would definitely attempt counseling first. That's why I want to date someone I'm not capable of feeling any sort of negative emotion towards، even when she seems to deliberately give them to me.
Even more, i wish if i have never met her in my life, i hope that someone hurts her and that she suffers from pain the same way she did to me!
You might be wondering whom i'm talking about, well i'm talking about my EX wife!
But can you really say that to her just because you two argued over things you didn’t agree on, even though she had been loyal to you throughout those five years?
Your case is different then mine and i'll surely won't say such stuff to a girl just because we have argued, especially if she's loyal to me for years...
Arguments happens between everyone, i always make sure or will try my best to never hurt other people's feelings...
No, I couldn't say it, but I wouldn't be in a relationship with someone who is obviously incompatible.
I got it
I’m here on GAG to decode relationships and all the messy feelings that come with them, babe 💋
If someone I loved for five years said I disgust them, that’s emotional brutality, not honesty. That’s beyond a red flag, that’s a whole crime scene. You can be hurt, angry, disappointed, but saying that is meant to destroy self-worth. Healthy people leave, set boundaries, maybe say “we’re not good together”, not “you disgust me”. That’s not love talking, that’s resentment, ego, and immaturity.

Why would I spend five years with someone I'm disgusted by? Even if I somehow did, I'd just distance myself without saying something like that.
Definitely, the ones who hurt us the most tend to be the ones closest to us.
