How many liars and cheaters take their secrets to the grave?

It can be anything from using someone for pity, cheating on a partner or with your best friend's partner, lying about a major portion of your life, a husband dying in old age and never finding out one of this children isn't his, etc.

I was just reading here about a woman that cheated with her friend's boyfriend. The friend never finds out, marries another man, already has older kids and the cheater dies years later in an accient. The cheating boyfriend from her younger years literally took that to his grave. The so called ''friend'' is still in the woman's life, never confessed and likely never will.

Among the liars, users, fakes or cheaters (though some can be remorseful but usually when caught suddenly many are sorry) that are caught and exposed but how people that do that are never caught and they can even take that to their grave?

Not many unless it was a one time thing which then was never repeated and if so really that was a good thing the other never found out as they decided you and stayed loyal for the rest of the relationship. But if someone cheats multiple times very likely will be caught each time is a risk of getting caught.
Which this applies to everything if you steal or kill once you may get away with it but you do it X times you'll get caught

I don't know the ratio of people getting caught Vs getting away with it, but I think the majority stay secrets.

I've lied and hide my crossdressing from friends and loved ones. I feel awful on my ex girlfriends as some didn't know and others caught me out. Nobody knows I'm Bi sexual.

Yeah so much for everything comes to light. Nope. Certain things can come out after the person literally took that to their grave and there isn't anyone else from that time period. That would suck because you can't even confront them by then and there was no justice done.

Even I'm just finding out a family secret about my paternal great grandfather never being in love with my great grandmother (the woman of his first choice who was really his first and vice-versa, broke up, dated and married someone else). My great grandmotehr was a rebound basically and she never found out. Wow... just wow. Both are long dead now.
