Like first off, is he actively looking for a job?

Are you making enough to support the both of you guys in the meantime while he searches for a job?

Have you put a time limit on him being unemployed while you live together?

Does he have a savings to help?

If the answer is no to most of these things then you need to really consider whether you should really be doing this. Love is a lot of things but one thing love can not do is pay the bills.
