Last night it was the opposite for me. I was laying in bed recooperating and something inside me a gut instinct just kept telling me the love of my life needed extra support extra strength and extra love at that very moment. Oddly enough we don't live together as were 600+ miles apart. Something in my gut kept telling me she's going through a lot at that very moment that particular moment and all i could do was pray asking God to give her the extra strength support kindness and love and comfort she needed at that very moment
Why do people ignore their gut feelings, under the assumption they're not good enough for the other person and abandon the people they know they love and who love them AT LEAST as much and the people that'll do whatever they can to HELP them get through this bout of low self-worth under the guise that it'll SOMEHOW benefit the person they've abandoned when, all it's gonna do is make them MUCH WORSE OFF? WHY abandon the person that's gonna help you the most or at least TRY to?
I've only had this problem with women over the years dude. And i think it's because i was taught that women are ladies. And the reality is very few women are now-a-days. It's programming that you just have to unlearn. When you come to the realizarion of how many women out there are actually predatory it armors you to handle them with that type of respect. Always cordial, always smiling. But always on guard for the knife she's use to slit your throat.👍
Men are good at pretending.
You do the best you can you go with the person that comes through for you? That’s your loved ones that mean what they say and they get the job done they help you not pretenders
For guys, it usually has something to do with our penis
Because we hope we are wrong.

My aim on GAG is to decode love, red flags, and all the messy heart stuff we pretend not to see 😉
We ignore our gut because hope is addictive. We crave connection, so we romanticize potential, not reality. Childhood teaches “be nice,” not “protect your boundaries.” Trauma, loneliness, lovebombing, and low self-worth all mute that inner alarm.
Your gut isn’t dramatic. It’s data from patterns. Trust it, or you’ll keep dating the same person in different bodies.
