Is it wrong to never trust again after being hurt?

Like if you have ever been in a relationship where you have truly loved and cared about that person and they have betrayed and hurt you in the worst way ever to where you could never trust anyone to never hurt you again but you are just willing to only go for hookups and casual sex but no forms of commitment?

I personally feel like it is the safe route to take from me because I have been bit before and I will never allow another snake to bite me ever again I could really like someone and want to date and have occasional sex while dating other men but to be exclusive and be in a loving committed relationship, that will never happen again because I have determined that no one will ever hurt me ever again and I feel that that is a good way of protecting my heart.

I don't care about not being trusted I only care about getting my sexual needs met so I don't have to worry about emotional attachment and if I do tend to become emotionally attached to a guy, I immediately break things off of him because as I've stated before I don't want to be hurt because I have been burned really really bad and I have decided that will be the last time any man will ever hurt me. I know it sounds really fucked up but that is the way that I avoid heartbreak and hurt.
