So why did this guy stop talking to me all of a sudden?

I hate not knowing what went wrong. I'm 22 he's 30. We met and had an amazing time together and had amazing sex, and he was so sweet and he kept saying he was dizzy every time he kissed me. We both live in different but kept in contact after and we were planning on seeing each other again.
He stopped talking to me for a week because I sent him a photo then posted it on Instagram but then he said he knows he was being difficult and that he does care about me and thinks I'm amazing and that he has trust issues and just gets a little crazy sometimes.
Everything was fine for a couple of days then all of a sudden he went ghost. I sent him a snap on June 2nd and he never even opened it! I kept texting him trying to understand what went wrong, I tried for 2 weeks and nothing no response.
I have since stopped trying to contact him.
He hasn't unfollowed me on Instagram though? He obviously knows he still follows me since he takes Instagram so seriously and if he wanted nothing to do with me why wouldn't he just unfollow me? Or block me?
The last conversation we had was at the end of May and he asked me if I was in bed I said no I'm out he said who am I out with I said with a friend and he said oh yeah what are you doing outside with your friend and I said jeez my friend is a girl I don't have friends with penises.
Did I hurt him? I don't get it. And I actually liked him too.

Sounds like this dude is super insecure. You can straight up call him but honestly what is going to get his attention (because I assume that's what you're after) is one of those ultimatum texts. Something like "Look I'm not sure what your issue is, but hopefully within the next few days you grow up give me a call and we can talk otherwise I'll see ya around" Not only do you take some of your power back you also directly put the ball in his court. It might take him time to get the courage to text you but it might take a day or two. In my opinion he is too insecure to date at his age but that's just my opinion.

Oh I have sent him numerous texts like that and still nothing, it has been about a month since we talked and the last text I sent him was if you can't tell that I care about you even after all this time you have ignored me then you're fking stupid. And that's it.

That's the problem though, you're basically saying "text me when you're ready... I'm still here... whenever you're ready I'll be here... just gunna wait around until it suits you..." he knows you'll always be there waiting, he doesn't have to change because you're accepting and clinging onto his bad behavior. This maybe extremely hard but you should not text him anymore. Allow him to miss you however long it takes. I'll be honest he may not text you again but you'll be able to move on if you stop texting him.

A one night stand is you have sex with someone and then never speak to them again. Did you not read what I wrote lol? After I got back home we still continued talking and made plans to see each other again, then he starting getting jealous over Instagram pictures.
