He says he cares about me deeply?? All answers are welcome =)

I did post this earlier but it ended up in Dating instead of Relationships...But I'm going to keep this short...

I've been talking to this guy for a month and a half. He's in the Air Force and 22. I really really like him. He's really nice and we hit it off really good. I hang out with him,invited him over and he even met my mom. 2 weeks ago, I told him that I do want a relationship with him. And it made him really happy. I don't even know what word to use to describe how happy he was.

This Tuesday, he was sent to Arizona to be stationed for 6 months to 1 year. We ooVoo, text, and talk on the phone. He tells me that he misses me so much and can't wait to come back home. I believe him when he says he misses me. But yesterday out of the blue, he said "I care about you deeply". I don't know if he means just that, if he's just saying that, or he means something by saying that.

Should I just read it how it is or does he mean something else but don't want to say it?

Saying "I care about you deeply" seems to be in line with the rest of his behavior . What's the issue? You think he's subtly trying to hint at love?

If so, try not to over-analyze it too much. Right now, all he said is that he cares about you. That's a good thing. Just be happy and let things progress as they will.

I know it's a good thing? There is no issue. I was just asking a question because that's the first time a guy has said that to me and I know that every guy is not the same. I'm not implying nothing.
