Immediate attraction or slow build up?

Hello gang,

if you think about your current or previous partners, were you attracted to them right away, or was it more like a slow process of being drawn to that person ? I was thinking about that lately, to me, attraction is like an on/off switch, it's either there, or it's not. If it's there, it doesn't mean it will last, but if it's not there, it will never happen

What are your experiences ? I hope my post makes sense...

Instant attraction.

Usually if the process is slow, I lose interest. Which I know isn't good, but I can't help it. Only if we're friends, I'll stay around, but if it's a guy who wants to date and there's no chemistry within the first two weeks, I can't help but lose interest. I feel the exact same when you say "If it's not there, it will never happen."

When I become attracted to someone, it is extremely fast. They're all I think about and if I could I would spend all day every day with them. On the other hand, I also lose attraction fast. That means if they cheat on me, or do something else that I can't stand, its over just like that.
