Are you embarrassed to say "I love You" in front of your friends?

I've begun to notice this in my bf..I will tell him I love You before hanging up and he will just say oki bye, kisses and then right away text me I love you...he also seems to have a hard time telling me face to face--it's as if he was more comfortable telling me through the phone when he's alone, or through a text, or chat. Any reason behind this? Do you do this? Thanks :-)

He doesn't feel comfortable saying it in front of his friends, but I can't really say that its bad or good. I would say it in front of my friends no problem.

He's not comfortable with PDA. I am like that too. I just feel uncomfortable saying it at all no matter who is around.
