If a guy buys stuff for you?

Likes a soda or something and when you offer to pay him back he argues with you and refuses to saying "don't even worry about it" does that mean anything? Or do guys buy things and do this because it makes them look more like a gentleman with no other intention or interest in the girl?

In my opinion, I think this guy might like you. My boyfriend always buys me stuff, and when I want to pay him back, he refuses. All of my guy friends wouldn't act like a gentleman around me, its more like, a joke thing. I don't know, its my opinion, but I hope this helps. :)

Well we went to a concert together. And it was his bday so I was going to buy him an alcoholic drink. He argued with me and said no. Then I pulled out my credit card and paid for it but my card wouldn't accept so he said he'd pay for everything. I told him no I'd pay him back later but he kept arguing and saying he wouldn't let me. It ended up being like $10.50 too for everything and we both only go one drink. He doesn't have much money either.

I think it means something unless he is your really good friend. Most guys aren't spending on money on girls they don't think are worth the effort. If he didn't have any interest he could keep his money for himself.

We've been friends for about 5 months but we've never hung out just the two of us. This was the first time we did.

well I buy stuff for girls all the time if were eating if its us only then

ill pay out of the goodness of my heart but its like were on a date or and e thing

it'll prob be like breakfast or lunch going to school or leaving school

Its really hard to say, over a soda, but really buying you something small is more of like "opening a door or pulling out your chair" ya he's being a gentlemen.

Actually it wasn't a soda. I was just using that as an example. It was a drink. The most expensive one there too. It was 10.50. And I told him I'd pay him back and he said don't worry about it.

Oh, was this like a bar thing? cuzz I'm thinkin it may be something like "covering his bases" or like he may like you a little and is waiting for something to give him a go on asking you out. That's just what I think.
