Why am I infatuated with older men?

I am 19 years old and I like guys who are like 28-40, and it's not that I want there money or anything because they aren't rich.So I'm not a gold digger. And I have a great relationship with my dad, I love him to death so it's not daddy issues. I just love when they stare at me like they want me , I don't know I'm just trying to figure out why that is , that I like them? Thanks

Oh and When I was 15 I lost my virginity to a guy who was 19 and after that he treated me very badly. Could that be it?

maaaaan, girls like you are DANGEROUS for guys my age, haha. I have some work friends that are still in college and go to parties with them fairly frequently. apparently I can still pass for a college kid, so why not keep the party going, hahaha. I end up talking to girls and finding out they're 18, 19 years old. I mean, legally it's fair game, but I'm getting to an age where I'm starting to feel bad, like I'd be taking advantage. I don't really see a future between two people with that big of an age gap and at those particular points in their lives, so by default I'd be consciously "just trying to sleep with these girls." and again, I guess it's all fair, but I'm not into hurting feelings, so it seems like a better idea to just look and not touch, as hard as that is to do. I dated a girl your age when I was 27, and she was real easy to look at, but we were just on totally different wavelengths. I have no interest in going to 18+ night at the club, and getting drunk isn't some crazy, new, adventurous concept anymore. "oh my god, I was so wasted last night" conversations are just annoying now, haha.

as for you, you might be attracted to their maturity. guys your age are technically adults, but many, if not most, are still reliant on their family for financial support, tuition, free room and board, etc. by 28 you probably have your life somewhat together and are a "responsible adult" that can support yourself. so maybe you like that. or maybe it's physical. guys that age are more filled out, they have a more grown-up looking face, you might prefer their sense of style. could be any number of things. maybe you want committment and you think that an older guy is more likely to be into that, unlike 19 year old guys like the one you had a bad experience with. but now that you're 19, guys that age should be a little safer to mess with. a 19 year old is just trying to hit-and-quit a 15 year old 100 times out of 100. and a 19 year old trying to sleep with a 15 year old is a predatory scumbag anyway, so don't rule out the entire age group based on him.

I think many women like older men there's a load of reasons why but it depends on the girl.

it could be that you like men who are from that generation because you get along with your dad you understand that type of culture better than allot of the newer stuff.

the weird thing about sosity is that for the most part it's OK for girls to like older men but when men like younger girls they are looked upon as a creep or pervert. NO I'm not talking about under age girls just girls that are much younger than they are.

I like older guys too... I think its because they give the illusion of being mature (even though they might not be.. not sure). Usually they seem to have more confidence, being that there life is more settled and they already achieved some work success. George Clooney, Pierce Brosnan... sigh...

Well usually the guy is older than the woman in most cultures. So I don't really see any problems. I think you're feeling quite normal, and as you do get older, age becomes less of a priority for most people. I know when I was younger, I wanted girls near my age, but now that I'm older, I usually have like a 10 year varience.

So, a lot of men are fascinated by older women, it doesn't mean that they have some sort of childhood trauma. It's a bit taboo and exciting and you would be a playtoy to them. If you want to be dominated and feel 'taken care of', that is just a preference.

I don't think that automatically means you having some psychological problem or issue. It could just be different strokes for different folks.

maybe it's a social status thing, maybe they seem more like men rather than boys, they're more mature and intelligent. could be anything.

You like to know that you're attractive to guys your age as well as guys like that. It gives you satisfaction that you can pretty much have any guy you want (in terms of how hot you look)
