So, both genders have standards (picky if you want to call it that) and they vary from individual to individual. Are you willing to settle or would you rather hold out and reject virtually everyone in search of that one perfect person?

FWIW, you can have exceptionally high standards and still settle for someone lower down. Or you can have fairly low ones and still hold out.

I've been with my girlfriend for about 18 months now and I just found out that she was a slut before we met. When she was in college she had several one night stands and was with at least 6 guys... probably more. I was aware that she had one other boyfriends before me and I could deal with that but the idea that she has had casual sex with 6+ other guys makes me sick. We've had a lot of fun together and I love her very much but I think I might be better to just end our relationship now before things get more serious.

I care about her a lot but I am pretty grossed out by this if I'm being honest. I don't want to hurt her feelings so if I do break up with her I think I'm better to lie to her about the reason. Do you think that I should just end things now? I'm just looking for some advice. Thanks

I'm 5'7.5 guy and just wondering if you think that's short for a guy?

I think it is, although if so what's the minimum height that starts being considered in the average range for a dude?

I purposefully buy thicker shoes these days in any case , not quite reached the insecurity levels yet for shoe lifts. :p

*You did not see the person willing to pay the $1,000,000 as being more attractive than you

So my girl and I have been together for 3 years and love to travel. This summer we decided we'd like to go on a road trip for 4 days to see her favorite band.

so her parents are sort of protective (understandably) and don't really ever travel which adds to there worries.

we've been on many trips together before but this would be the first one where we'd be going alone. I know for a fact that her parents trust us though and so hopefully that's not the issue.

so teens, how would you feel about asking your parents for permission to go on the trip?
how do you think they would react?

and adults, would you consider letting your daughter go on the trip?
