I didn't get my first serious girlfriend until I was 29, almost 30. In fact, other than online attempts with girls where they rejected me upon meeting in person or short term dating where nothing transpired from it, I never had an actual girlfriend before that. Luckily and with the grace of God, I am now engaged. It is a huge relief.

This had caused so much grief, stress, and anguish over the years being single with no chance in sight of finding love. Shockingly, I was being looked at as the problem for being so depressed about it. I feel 100% that I was justified to feel this way, considering most humans start exploring romance and sex starting in middle or high school.

I wouldn't advocate for this to be the norm, especially for those who truly desire to have a significant other and a family in their lifetime. I know by the time I turned 29, I was already experiencing erectile dysfunction, libido issues, and low testosterone. Shit, for all I know, I can be infertile at this point. I didn't experience these issues up until recently.

We men all know, that having deep emotional moments are a big no go for our girlfriend unless you are ready to risk it and end up single again as your girlfriend loses all respect and love for you. here's where a separate female friend comes in to save the day, knowing you can't expect a romantic relationship with her, so there's nothing to lose if you go to your separate female friend and let out your emotional sides, cry a river or do your thing, that you can't do with your girlfriend, thatll risk your relationship and her respect for you. No more pretending to be completely exhausted and crashing into the bed when you feel like shedding tears.

Remember its the girls, that make these rules and then claim, that they want a man, who is in touch with his emotions unless you are a top tier male. And if you as a conventional man can't adhere to their rules, then you'll get whats coming such as what happened in the question i linked above. Say goodbye to the relationship and the bedroom hanky panky.

Do you believe in long distance relationships?

Imagine disaster strikes earth and the entire population has to be moved to two planets in orbit around another star within the Milky Way. A misogynist world leader, strongly prejudiced against women, decided that it was better to separate the sexes. Women have been moved to planet A and men to planet B.

There is a space station roughly equal distance between the two planets. On paper, it’s only meant to be visited by astronauts from planet A or planet B. Purpose of the visits are scientific research and science-controlled procreation, so as to allow kids to grow up on either planet, to prevent the population from dying and disappearing. Again, kids will be strictly separated by sexes.

As with all things human, scientific research makes way for commercial greed and soon there are ‘holiday packages’ to either visit the space station or even the other planet where you’re not supposed to be. What would you do if you had the financial means?

They would be the same person with the same brain. Just a different body.

Common example is martial law and mandatory military service. He is at risk being called up to arms and fighting the invaders. He is at risk in his everything, his health and his very life.

On the flip side there's also the "no, what for and why?" factor such as peaceful Russians being at risk to be sent to the meatgrinder in Ukraine. The young men in this situation are at fatal risk for literal senseless bloodshed because a certain 71 year old geezer said so.

Trouble putting consistent effort into romantic gestures, maintaining physical appearance and fitness to look decent for yourself and your partner, spending quality time, initiating and giving your partner lots of physical touch, giving words of affirmation, doing acts of service for them when you can, etc.

Have you honestly never been lazy to put in effort? And if not, what parts were you lazy in?

New relationships have so much excitement and energy. There are surprises and unexpected pleasures and every day brings something new. But after some period of months, or maybe a few years, there aren't many surprises and the excitement isn't at the same level as before. Eventually, you've tried everything you wanted to do in the bedroom and you are repeating things you've done before. It's the same-old same-old.

Some people are okay with things settling into a routine. For some of us, knowing what to expect is comfortable, and we don't have a need for excitement as much as we need stability and comfort. But some people need more excitement and stimulation. (How many people claim that they cheated on a partner because they got "bored?")

For this question, "long term relationship" means a relationship that has lasted at least one year. What do YOU need in a LTR: stability and comfort, or excitement and novelty?
