In the shadow of darkness

Tis me again, coming out of the darkness and from under my bridge

Been thinking a lot. Maybe its too much to ask for.

can you tell me why?

why does everything have to be a struggle to get to and a race ?

what about me?

we all want to get something in life. But no matter how hard you work, you can't get there.

This is what I want:

But my dream is to work in a dungeon with my law and file experience, and I bring some inconsistency to a head lawyer, and show him the research I made, This in turn the firm made back $50,000,000 is lost revenue. The firm has a huge gala during Christmas where they are presented with a check.

This isn't no ordinary gala. Its a black tie gala. Where its a 7 course meal. they got musicians playing Bach, Beethoven, and other symphonies in the lounge area, A bartender serving drinks. Waiters in bow ties coming and serving you drinks, appetizers.

And as the gala slowly draws to a close, the head lawyer of the firm thanks everyone, states he has a surprise, during the whole time Im in the basement, Im struggling to keep my house in order, Im helping fix the problems in their house, since some had problems with storms and such. Help them with other things such as a few dollars (even though I did not make much) for lunch if need be. The head lawyer offers me a mid level position with my own office, and then in that dream the person Im with comes out and announces that she's pregnant with our first child.

I dont want the perfect life, I just want the life which will keep me above water, no bills, no debt. just enough to make the people in my life happy.

is the end there? will I get there?

Life isn't a question of getting anywhere i suffered from depression and have wasted soooo much time looking for a reason or a rope, people assume that Buddhists simply waste their lives trying to achieve the unachiveable a point were reaching higher state in which the cosmos and everything in it be it good or be it bad makes sense so we copy not that hard right! just sit down and e quite hoping something will happen, much like a switch being turned on so we wait and wait and think and ponder nothing, does that mean one must train all their lives to achieve what we want that higher state so we try and try yet we are not that close to reaching it, if anything we seems further away. Until a buddest monk walks in and say's "what are you doing?" "trying to do as you do reach that state" the looks and laughs and says "you don't work to reach it you already have" with this knowledge we sit down and see well i have that higher state and just like a switch being turned on we understand everything. The point am making is you already have everything you need keeping your head above water is called a family people who care for you and am sue they can help it's not a mans job but a parents job to provide for your family, you have more than i do.
