Is this asking for too much?

So I'm 23 and I'm working two jobs. I'm trying to save up for an apartment but I'm living with my grandpa because we have had 2 deaths in the family recently and he needs company. I do all the laundry, take care of the house and work literally all the time. I get one day off a week sometimes 2. I never ask him for money, I pay my phone bill and my car insurance and anything I want to buy, I buy it myself. On my nights that I have free, I go out and sometimes I stay the night at my boyfriend's house just to get away and have some time to myself sometimes. My grandpa is pissed at me and is threatening to kick me out because I go out and stay the night somewhere else on my one day off. Is this asking for too much? I'm so tired of working all the time and taking care of the house and never asking family for anything, I'm burnt out and sometimes I just want a free night. Why is that so bad? I'm 23 and just trying to help my gpa through a hard time but gees, I need time for myself too... am I wrong?

Also my grandpa can get around by himself just fine so leaving for one night isn't hurting his health or anything. And I make sure to have housework done before I leave so he doesn't have to do anything.

You are doing the absolute most. Your grandpa sounds controlling and needs to lay off. Maybe he is lonely. You are a grown ass women and you are allowed to prioritize your emotional wellbeing and close-knit relationships without anyone holding you back. if grandpa kicks you out, let him. He is shouldn't force you into his lap

you better get out of there before he gets older and needs actual physical assistance. you don't need to live there to help him cope with a death. you can visit every day, but living there doesn't seem like the best option. why aren't you living with your boyfriend instead?

he's treating you like you're under 18. but you're 23... he's not the boss of you. he certainly likes control, stop letting him do that.

I would understand if I didn't work or pay my bills but I do all of that. And I buy my own stuff. The only thing is that I don't pay rent but that's only because he told me that I don't have to. I feel like I'm wasting my early 20s working and trying to please everyone in my family and it's driving me insane.

No you are not asking to much. One night is not a big deal. You deserve to have some time with your boyfriend. If your GPA really has a problem with it then have your boyfriend go to your place and see if your GPA says anything

You aren't asking for too much. If you want a home you should talk to your boyfriend about going in on it together and building together. That way the bills aren't so bad. A boyfriend / husband makes things wayyyy easier.
