1 - Do not assess people based on their appearance or charm but accurately view people based on their work ethic and character

2 - Do not hurt those who try to help and those who try to do the right thing even when they fumble and make errors

3 - Do not violate emotional boundaries by threatening their comfort or challenging their personal space

4 - Do not abuse the trust people have for you by taking advantage of their reliance on you for guidance and information

5 - Do not disrespect somebody or be mean to somebody simply because they do not share your religious beliefs

6 - Do not violate the privacy or personal self interest of those in authority over you

7 - Do not get into a relationship with a troublemaker purely for their looks or income or charm while failing to take into account their bad qualities

8 - Do not exploit people's emotions by failing to show others the same love they show you or by misusing their kindness for personal gain

9 - Do not disrespect those who are in authority over you or those with more experience than you

10 - Do not withhold knowledge and criticism from those who are honest and sincere enough to appreciate

11 - Do not oppress or belittle an innocent person just because they are not beautiful or rich

12 - Do not be depressing and unhopeful or counter productive or unnecessarily confrontational and cynical or pessimistic or negative about your life or about people or about your future or about God

These aren’t things that are leadership qualities, these are things that all people should be doing. So stop qualifying them as “leadership” qualities. I’d have to say I rarely see them in Christians let alone in their leadership. So before you start touting them as “laws” which have no consequences if not followed why not actually teach them and practice them.

@ShadezMcgee well first of all these things should apply regardless. But to say that they are “leadership” things to do is self serving at best. Plus that if this was a leadership type of post it’s seems rather unusual for them to say “Do Not...” If anything it should be say that leaders “should” do things. A leader would know that saying something positive rather than negative get a better response.

Remember Grace is about making up where one cannot fulfill the Law. Of course if your a Believer, Make sure you are absolutely aware that when you stand before God, everything within your behavior and thoughts will be presented and we are powerless to hide our weaknesses. There is no fooling God when we are standing, well I write “standing” but for me, I was not standing. I was literally trying to hide but I could not. But when I thought of Jesus Christ and how disgusted and disappointed in myself. Christ gave me a chance to change. Change and converted is what I did, but it is a heavy tax & even greater labor.

Religion inflicts guilt to sustain control over the believers, and I most certainly do not believe that Jesus was a real man, for I know all too well of the symbolism of the “Sun of God”, well depicted in any painting, photo, or image of “Christ”.

• Keep people dependent on you so that you're not replaceable.
• Stay unpredictable
