Why excluding ignorant people is a waste of time

There are three statements that Jesus made about large groups of people

1. The majority will choose the path of ignorance and self destruction because it has the least resistance and lowest life standards and smoothest comfort levels, so the majority is ignorant and the few are knowledgeable.

2. The most respected and esteemed religious people in society are usually the liars and blasphemers and false prophets and not the honest or the reverent or the compassion because human beings are evil and they prefer those who are evil to those who are good.

3. The good and righteous will be hated and harassed and judged and slandered and attacked and socially excluded for their superior morals and way of life because the world does not like the intellectual challenge that good people provide to the existing social systems which are influenced by the errors of sinners and liars and blasphemers.

4. Jesus said those who judge others will be judged so be careful about mocking or badmouthing a struggling or unrighteous perso .

So if you want to conclude that 97% are ignorant - what point is there in trying to target and destroy ignorant people?

And you yourself might also be ignorant without realizing it.

And the Old Testament says that even ignorant bigots are capable of renouncing their ignorance and bigotry and becoming enlightened one day so it does not make sense to remove a bad believer before their time of reckoning, since they might repent and stop being ignorant.

I think it's an important point to exercise humility, admitting that most can be ignorant including yourself and that our goal as christians is to want all people to find salvation, to desire that and want that. So, it would only stand to reason that we want to include and get to know ignorant people.

My take on ignorance: don’t denounce something as bullshit just because it sounds like bullshit TO YOU. Just because you don’t understand it, or just because you think it might not sound realistic, doesn’t mean that it isn’t. Open your mind and stop being A DOUBTER!!! (... Let’s face it, if Christianity excluded ignorant people, a lot of US citizens would need to find a new religion.

WOW!! A true evangelical's view of such a peaceful man's take on society. Jesus isn't condemning those who don't understand what God the Father is about. He is pointing out their ignorance and giving them a new commandment. Love one another as I have loved you.

Being kind and loving isn’t always popular. I’ve received a ton of harassment for criticizing Donald trump by Christians who want to ban Muslims or abortion and I’ve had guys spread lies about me at church cause I was so kind they wanted to date me and when I rejected them, they got angry and wanted revenge and I’ve had co workers spread lies about me because I worked so hard that they viewed me as competition for hours and promotions so I don’t was punished for being a good employee instead of being rewarded for being a good worker.
