Butthurt People And Their Excuses For Silencing Others

See, I have this theory, that butthurt people with big egos will do anything to protect themselves, like label other people as part of a hate group, use dismissive attitudes that make your opinion look pointless, or flat out block you so you can't make any points to them.

Let's discuss a couple of things here, about why this is wrong and makes them the more childish person.

1. Removing a person's ability to comment or post or have an opinion is removing their freedom of speech on a topic, or limiting it if you want to get technical.

2. They always seem to block after they get the last word in. This is an ego defense.

3. Earlier today, I was blocked by a man who labeled me as an anti feminazi because I made too many comments. Does that sound like a logical deduction? It's not, but fair enough. He further went on to block me from commenting on the post, and used the dismissive attitude towards every person I commented to, saying that "Nobody should care about my opinion because I made X number of comments". Below is his mindset in the situation.

Butthurt people and their excuses for silencing others.

^There's a great example of a dismissive attitude. See, people who are right tend to stick to the facts, people who are wrong have this bad habit of turning an argument into to something else, like how many comments you made. Nobody outside of trolls should be blocked. Trolls have nothing to say in a debate.

Now, let's discuss a few things about logic, debate, and freedom of speech. All 3 of these things come from Ancient Greece, with philophers like Socrates, Plato, Aristotle, and etc. All of these men believed in people's ability to argue a point, and they set up a system for debate. The idea was that you stick to the issues at hand, use basic logic, and feel free to contradict other people. This is the purpose of a free, open platform for speech. For people to discuss things and figure out the problems together.

All of the philosophers would be disgusted by the world we live in today, where sensationalism, and big butthurt babies get more attention than people who try to debate logically. It seems that in our American school system, people aren't taught basic logic, which is a damn shame, but also indicative of a bigger problem. See, they don't want people to be able to think logically, because they thrive on sensationalism, and an ill informed public. *Insert Donal Trump meme*

Crime and stupidity thrive in a world where people think that no opinion can be objectively wrong, or claim something is without evidence. Where the most snarky remark is seen as the winner in an argument or debate, or worse, things come down to a popularity contest, which is pretty much what this years elections have been as well.

As I said, people won't stick to the topic at hand if they have nothing to say about it. This is their ego talking, and not them.

Butthurt People And Their Excuses For Silencing Others

These are tactics that they use not only to try to silence others, but also to defend their egos which makes them assume they could NEVER be wrong. There's a word for this, it's called being a sociopath.

Butthurt People And Their Excuses For Silencing Others

^This is the mindset of people who make questions or mytakes and reply with things like "I didn't make this post so people could disagree with me. I didn't ask for your opinion" and etc. This is again, an ego defense from someone who thinks they could NEVER be wrong.

Now, let's discuss these ideas and how we feel about all of them. Anyone is allowed to comment, even people who have me blocked, but take note that anyone who does have me blocked won't get an honest debate from me, which will keep all of us from figuring things out more easily. As we've covered, debates exist for helping large groups discover objective truths, AND to encourage critical thinking skills about subjective opinions.

Now, share your opinions on bad argumentation and sensationalism, GaG.
