The Secret to Greatness is Not Positive Thinking

It is Respect. To do well in school, you must respect school. To have a beautiful figure, you must respect your image. To have a happy home life you must respect your home life and to have a healthy relationship with God, you must respect His Will and His decisions and His choices. To attract a husband or wife, you must respect the idea of marriage and the person you pursue to fill that role, to have a good relationship with your children, you must respect your kids, to have a long and healthy life, you must respect your body and to have quality friendships you must respect your friends and your acquaintances and friends.

The proverbs says the man who always fears or trembles is blessed and to fear and tremble at all times is to be respectful at all times. There is a common crises of disrespect in Christian churches today which explains the higher poverty rates among certain religious communities and the insecure family dynamics in those single parent households, people are not disrespecting themselves by bearing false witness and being fake and they are disrespecting others by being rude and calculating and distrustful of each other and this is why many Christians never attain the path of righteousness they set aside for themselves, it isn’t enough just to respect yourself and your style of worship - you must respect others and even those not familiar with your lifestyle, than and only than do you have a chance, both on earth and after death.
