What God says about enemies

In the bible, Jesus makes this comment:

“Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to stumble! Such things must come, but woe to the person through whom they come.”

What this means is impossible to avoid offensive people and behaviours by others, the goal when you are offended is to deal with it in a healthy way, not to think that perfecting your behaviour will save you from the offending people or groups.

Another thing we can learn from this verse is that it’s okey to cut off somebody who tempts you into bad behaviour or offends your rights and privileges.

To think that being perfect doesn't save you is an unscriptural fact. The word of God says in Luke 1 that God has sworn an oath that we He would save us from all our enemies.
The word of God also says when man's ways please God, He makes His enemies to be at peace with him.

So perfection has a major role to play.

Scripture must be divided rightly.
