Why what you get out of religion is just as important as what you put in

In Mark 4:24, Jesus says “Consider carefully what you hear,” he continued. “With the measure you use, it will be measured to you—and even more. 25 Whoever has will be given more; whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them.”

Do you you know that two people can read the same verse in the bible and each interpret it in a different way? Or that two people can read the same thing in scripture and put it into practice in a different way? I will give you an example

The bible says you shall not boil a baby goat in the milk of the mother's goat that nourished it. A lot of Jewish people believe this means you cannot mix milk with meat when eating and have to wait four hours in between each meal, and some might judge those who tell them the verse can be interpreted in a different way.

I on the other hand think it could mean different things, possibly not to add insult to injury even against those not intelligent enough to know they are being insulted and mistreated by you, or that you should not share your good fortune with somebody who is jealous and does not have your best interest at heart etc... So two people can read the same passage in the bible and interpret it in a different way.

And two people can interpret the bible in the same way but put it into practice in a different way. Somebody might think the rules against stealing mean they should not ask for money or gifts even when it is offered to them, another person might think it means they should punish those who refuse to return borrowed money on time by ruining their reputation and suing them or vandalizing their property in equal or greater measure than what was stolen from them or accuse a late payer of theft when the payer was delayed in returning borrowed money.

So you can see that it is not just what you read but also how you read it, not just how you read it but also how you practice it. I've met Christians who practice hate towards people in the name of religion because when they read the psalms, the psalmist sounds hateful to them and I've met Christians who mock poor people because they take the proverbial verses on riches literally and not metaphorically as in spiritual riches and not worldly ones.

Absolutely... Much of the Bible isn't meant to be taken in literal terms. It is written in allegories so that the more Spiritually adept you become the the higher degree of learning you get from your translation. Some of it has hidden meanings and several meanings as a way of keeping record astrologically. Also, as far as revelations go, if the collective (a large percentage of the people on earth) all focus their energy on a certain thing/event then they can easily manifest something out of thin air. The scribes knew this and to this day they still manipulate the people through the news and media to bring forth something that they would not be able to do otherwise. This being said, if enough people focus their energy on a time and date then they could manifest the end times with their thought alone so it's up to us to create our reality. We can also move mountains
