Why you should trust God

I believe that trusting God means you do God’s will even when it doesn’t seem beneficial, even when you think your way is better, even when it doesn’t make sense to you, because when you sacrifice what is good for God, God gives you what is better, and when you Sacrifice what is better for God, God gives you what is best.

I have never met a pastor who had no other career options, they all had other jobs and professions available to them that they sacrificed for God and last year I turned away a guy God told me to reject and my theory now is, the guy was not bad for me, but God had somebody better in mind that I could date, I sacrificed a job and a few careers I wanted to do because God told me He had a new career in mind for me, and I left the church I used to go to because God showed me in a dream that God could find me a place more compatible with my interests. I also had dreams telling me to reject friends I had who had certain flaws which did not make a lot of sense cause my university buddy said everybody has these flaws.

A loan giver might believe it is good to ask his debtors to pay what they owe but if you trust God and the debtor cannot afford to pay, you will cancel the debt believing God can compensate you or has already compensated you for the loss. When you give up what is good for God, God gives you what is better so it might make no sense for a victim to forgive their abuser but if the victim trusts God, they will believe God can compensate them for what happened, even if it seems impossible or so far away, that is what I believe it means to trust God.

I think you should trust God as he has so much control over your life and if you believe in him and trust in him life goes well if you do the opposite it can send you down some wrong pathways

I trust God will be there for me and my loved ones as long as we keep him in our lives. God gave me everything I prayed for in the first 30 years of my life. I prayed for logical things cause you just don't ask God for winning lottery tickets. Regardless God took very good care of me. They I committed one or more of the top ten laws of God. Shit went bad fast and it's been difficult but I still trust he's there for me because I probably deserve worse and life could definitely get worse so Thank you God

Damn. I dont really care about trusting in God. Assuming he exists, God gave me my consciousness, the ability to make decisions for myself. So I don't think i should constantly turn to him for everything i need.

I have a question though. How do you know what God is telling you? How does God reach you?

Well, God doesn't speak to most people on a day-to-day basis. However, there are times where God speaks to us through various ways. For example, I had a friend once randomly telling me I wasn't revising (and it was true) when it seemed otherwise. The next moment, it was like he was confused and didn't even know what he was talking about a second ago. There are times when an incredible idea (From social media, people recommending stuff, etc) is just presented right in front of you and you know that you can definitely make great use of that idea. Well, there are various ways God can speak to us, sometimes it's inspiration from daily life or a particular movie or book.
