Why you should listen to God

I was viewing a pastoral post online and a woman said a man she knew was miraculously healed from an injury that left him bed bound but he refused to work after being cured because he wanted to continue collecting disability and within 8 months his injury came back and he was in tremendous pain and her warning is to honour God by serving God after God gives you a blessing or you will be given new problems.

I was warned by God in a dream that I would have to be forgiving and gracious to stand a reasonable chance with a good guy I knew and in the last few days I relapsed into my old aggressive ways from bitterness over people mistreating me. And after saving money and healing a health problem I had, I developed a new issue and need dental treatment and my dad says that this time, for the first time ever, he is refusing to cover my dental bills so the money I wanted to spend on my business start up, now needs to be used for my mouth.

This what Jesus said after healing a sick man that if the man did not change his ways, new problems would come that are worse than the sickness he left behind.

I listen to Todd once in a while but, as he's treated me kinda badly over the years, I've started to avoid his records. I was just thinking of listening to his records again a few hours ago. Maybe I will, maybe I won't but, he kinda lost me around the "Arena" era.

But, apparently, I'm not the only one he treats badly. When he was producing the XTC album, they found his methods quite strange and quite often made fun of him when he wasn't around. And, if he thinks himself such a god, and a wizard of electronics, why is it he had the polarity in his studio all screwed up for decades without ever noticing it himself? But, at least they got a good album out of it that put them back on the map for a while, especially with their big hit.

I think how a person listens to god is just as important as why they should.

Obviously, if some being demonstrated magical properties we should listen to it. But so far nothing has.
