How a Christian like me views the 12 Tribes of Israel

I try to keep the Jewish parts of the bible as a non-Jew by converting all the physical customs into allegorical principles and I refer to myself as a Christian and not a Jew.

In Genesis, Jacob says, “Naphtali is a doe set free that bears lovely fawns.” And he blesses all of his sons and two of his grand sons before he dies. He had 12 sons and 2 grand sons.

The way I view the blessing for Naphtali, and for the other 12 tribes, is that each son and father of the tribe, represents a spiritual principle in the blessing of Jacob and later of Moses, so that Naphtali is a symbol for encouragement, supportiveness and edification.

And the doe, or female deer, means that edifying and supportive, ministerial conversations, cultivate beautiful dreams in people that lead to glory and growth in their lives, and that the beauty you pass on to the spirits of others, will return to you.

Substituting Naphtali for Ministry, you get, Ministry is a beauty set free, that bears lovely lives.
