How do you know they are real? Because of a book? I come from deep theological roots. Have studied the Bible in multiple languages, you are simply brainwashed.
@Throwdownxxx Textbooks on evolution? A biologist I trust came up with a list of good ones:
Why Evolution Is True, by Jerry Coyne Trilobite, by Richard Fortey At the Water’s Edge, by Carl Zimmer Making of the Fittest, by Sean B. Carroll Endless Forms Most Beautiful, by Sean B. Carroll Mutual Aid, by Petr Kropotkin
@goaded I think because it didn't tag anybody in my original reply, it misled you to believe I was responding to the original when I was responding to the Adam and Eve comment. I 100% believe in evolution. I have read numerous textbooks on evolution, biology, genetics and etc. Of those you listed I have read: At the Water's Edge, Endless Forms Most Beautiful. 'Who We Are and How We Got Here: Ancient DNA and the New Science of the Human Past' by David Reich is another good one to check out.
@Throwdownxxx I haven't read any of them. The last book I read specifically on evolution was The Selfish Gene. Have you read Other Minds: The Octopus, the Sea, and the Deep Origins of Consciousness? It's a fascinating look at how intelligence evolved in two completely different evolutionary branches (vertebrates and cephalopods really don't have much in common). Sorry, again, for misinterpreting your post.

Humans evolved from chimpanzees around 7 million years ago
No, we did not evolve from chimpanzees. While related, we are on two different evolutionary lineages.
@Throwdownxxx Exactly correct, well said. Just what I said in my reply.
Bullshit we are not evolved from anyone else, a lot of theories are based on stupid assumptions.
@SHREYASH007 How do you propose we got here?
Darwin had it backwards. Apes were descended from man.
That’s an interesting thought!
How so?
::eye roll: troll.
God created man. I think evolution is real, but not with human beings. There is definitely some evolution involved though.
That sounds reasonable
Yeah, how is that reasonable? Please tell me.
God created man
God doesn't exist.
@Gal67 to you maybe but not to mention what. God exists to me
Evidence?
Do you have evidence?
@AndrésC64 hmm let’s see do you have any evidence proving otherwise
Show me one piece of evidence that contradicts Evolution. I'll wait.
@AndrésC64 my whole mytake
How does your 'MyTake' demonstrate that evolution isn't real? Did I miss something here?
@Gal67 🤦♀️
Bigbluey - I ask, because we both agree that mankind didn't evolve from the apes, which is what evolutionists also believe.
@Gal67 See my response below titled "Ken Miller On Human Evolution"
Man created God
@DCooper it’s the other way around god created man
You seem pretty sure of it.
We DID NOT evolve from apes
Humans are apes, and all apes come from a comon ancestor. Thats prooven (sorry for bad English)
So Adam and Eve were Apes?
@TheBigGuy9 yeah good point
@TheBigGuy9 they weren't real
@pibe10 how do you know smarty
@pibe10 just like everything else in the world?

@Throwdownxxx Maybe you should try reading more than one book? There are libraries full of texts on evolution.
@goaded what? I’ve read 100s.

@Throwdownxxx Apologies. There's also the slight problem that at least one responder on this opinion has blocked me, so I can't see their posts.
I guess that's @TheBigGuy9, who I don't recall ever interacting with.

Yeah, but we had help along the way.
As a biology student - I loved this. Great job.
Evolution is real in Pokémon
Well Pokémon is not real in real life
WHAT
What? I’m being serious
I believe Apes were evolved from Humans.
We are all monkeys
We evolved from potatoes. Damn it!
We evolved from flies
nice share :) thanks
What's your point
My point? My point? It is that I do not believe that we evolved from apes
Ok 👌👌👌
We didn’t evolve from apes, no evolutionary scientist would tell you otherwise. You are brainwashed and misinformed.
