What the Bible teaches about rules

The bible says if you understand a rule that God has given you, you should follow it, even if you think following it is unnecessary or you do not know why God gave you that rule, like I used to think fortune telling was cool and harmless and I ended up studying it and ruining many opportunities God planned for me to receive by wasting my years in disobedience to God. I heard about a guy who dabbled in occultism and became a serial killer and I know a kind and compassionate guy who did witchcraft and became a child exploiter and once he was jailed he was banned from our centre and I never saw him again, God knows more than you, and if you want the best that God has in mind for you, you must try to obey Him even if you think His rules are stupid or refutable.

Once again very correct sister! We do not rely on our own understanding to live life. The worldly wisdom is sought by those who think in a fleshly manner. He can not get to know the deep things of God because the way of righteousness is foolish to him.

There are many things about Him that we do not understand. The very concept of an ever-dwelling power that created the universe is simply beyond human comprehension given our everyday existence. The Bible breaks things down (from the cosmic scale) for us to understand, frequently with analogies.
