To me joy comes by choosing the glory of God and rejecting the glory of man

Joy also comes by choosing the purposes of God and rejecting the vanities of the world

And joy comes by overlooking insults and not practicing wrath around a person who misbehaves

Joy also comes by protecting the emotional needs of others

While satisfaction comes by protecting the practical needs of others
