I’ve had at least 5 crushes on guys that are out of reach that appeared to be good guys

All 5 turned out to be liars and frauds

At the time I was rejected by them, I did not know they were morally corrupt

I learned they were corrupt around 7-11 years later.

And now I know if a guy is unattainable, I should trust God is protecting me, and not fight on for a chance to be with them.

I think guys like you mentioned are the reason that young people in the past were never allowed to search their own partner and that the parents usually did it for them. They weeded out all the useless bad ones to have only the morally highest and best people for their daughter or son. No parent who has a shred of morals would want their child to end up with a criminal or abuser. Indeed in the past you would be auctioned of by your parents to another family to have your line continue, didn't mater what gender you were it was the same for both.

Sounds like you had unrealistic expectations from guys that you did not really know. That's just living in fantasy land. You need to stop living in your head and be present in the real world, in real life. Don't get your hopes up until you know a guy actually cares about you.

Honestly, for me emotionally caring about a girl is hard. Some don't even care. They pretend to be ur friend just to get whatever it is they need. Not all women do this, but it is pretty common in the age groups of 16 to around 24.

I won’t answer because if I give details, because I think at least 6 people on this site know me in real life and could share that with the people I know. Like I’ve found co workers and class mates and church friends and medical professions I know in real life on this site.
