The bible teaches you cannot be both ethical and appetite indulgent. Many people push aside the needy or unhelpful because they view the person as a distraction to their goals or their purposes, but a true person does not fear monetary loss when they entertain others and neither do they trivialize the value or dignity or reputation of others, doing so, is more dangerous than robbing a bank in the eyes of God. When a person believes self interest is acceptable as a code of behaviour, they engage in inexcusably bad conduct due to a lack of piety for God.
Marcus Aurelius talks about indulging appetites and self discipline and ethics frequently as does Seneca. This is an intersection where stoic philosophy and Christian doctrine agree.

I will say that corruption is not good because it has a long way of affecting the other generations to come.
Corruption is the state whereby a particular set of individual involve themselves in some form of attitude that is not pleasing to the people around them and also displeasing before GOD
