Why the bible teaches that knowledge is power

People who follow the bible say you should not judge others, but most believe it’s okay to judge those that judge others, since they invite judgment when they justify their own ability to judge others.

I realize one problem I have in my religion is I’m a very suspicious person that does not trust people quickly and I’m suspicious because of abusers and liars in my inner circle who married into the family and treated me like a stranger or pretended to love me for the sake of their marriage while trying to sabotage me behind my back.

I had best friends and male pursuers betray me and plot my injury and harm and I had stalkers target me while claiming to serve God. I also had bible study leaders ban me from their prayer groups for not conforming to their cultural practices, In one case, I was blacklisted by 30 bible study members for talking openly about my problems while not verbally giving them reasons to respect me first.

If this sounds ridiculous, you should know the world is full of ridiculous people who do stupid things and even smart people are capable of incredible stupidity.

What I’m trying to say is, my suspicion of human beings carried into my religion at times where I was tempted to be suspicious of God because I thought, if human beings have told so many lies to me and about me, how could I be sure God was different?

God has been teaching me to trust him this year and as my trust grew, so has my ability to obey Him and be patient towards other people.

I also realized I should stop judging people who slander me out of reckless and unfounded suspicions because the reason they are suspicious is because somebody abused or mistreated them or neglected their needs when they were a child.

I’ve never met a suspicious person who was raised by loving parents in a neighbourhood where they were respected and loved. So even evil people are victims.
